2025 Goldfield Community & Employment Expos


MEEDAC’s Goldfield Community & Employment Expos are returning in 2025, offering bigger and better opportunities for career development and exploration. This free event is perfect for anyone looking to take the next step in their career or explore new pathways. Attendees will receive guidance on securing sustainable employment, discover alternative career opportunities, and explore educational pathways leading to fulfilling jobs.

The expos will also provide access to traineeships and apprenticeships, as well as personalised support services to help individuals achieve their career goals. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with resources and opportunities that can shape your future.

This event is open to individuals aged 16 to 65, including:

  • Students (TAFE and senior school)
  • Skilled workers
  • Mature-age job seekers
  • Entry-level job candidates
  • Those pursuing apprenticeships and traineeships (both mature-age and senior school)

  • Cost: This is a free community event
  • Registrations: No registrations are required from attendees. However, exhibitors must register in advance.Register as an exhibitor

        About the Expos:

        Since 2019, MEEDAC has been collaborating with service providers, community groups, and employers across the Midwest and Goldfield regions to deliver impactful community and employment expos.

        These free events provide a unique platform for community members to connect with support services, local employers, and community groups—all in one convenient location.

        Our expos are designed to empower local communities by offering access to vital resources, employment opportunities, and support networks, fostering growth and connection across the region.

        Upon Arrival

        Upon your arrival at the Expo Venue, exhibitors and guests will receive a wrist band. Wrist bands must remain on and intact throughout the event (to assist with tracking venue capacity numbers) but can be removed once the event has concluded.

        Exhibitors will be required to register their attendance by signing in at the front desk to receive their wrist band. 

        Lunch & Refreshments on the Day

        A light lunch will be provided on the day of the event for exhibition holders and guests from 12pm. If you have any dietary requirements, can you please ensure that you have advised the event coordinator by the RSVP date, so we can cater for your needs. It would also be appreciated if you could please confirm the number of representatives, from your organisation that will be attending for catering purposes. Tea and coffee facilities, including biscuits, bottled water and juice will also be available throughout the event.


        If you require assistance throughout the day, please do not hesitate in asking a friendly MEEDAC staff member for assistance.

        Photos On The Day

        Please be advised that photos will be taken on the day for post event promotional and reporting purposes.
        If you prefer that your photo not be taken and used for the above purposes, please advise staff prior to them taking your photo.

        Event Feedback Forms

        MEEDAC will be handing out event feedback forms throughout the day. It would be appreciated if you could please complete the form and return to the front registration desk or hand to a staff member. Completing the feedback form assists us with the planning and delivery of future events.

        What MEEDAC Provides for Exhibitors

        To make your participation seamless, MEEDAC will supply:

        • Exhibition tables (6 ft. trestle tables) with black tablecloths. Bring your branded tablecloth if available!
        • Chairs and access to power (by request).
        • Refreshments, including tea, coffee, and biscuits, plus lunch for all exhibitors.

        What to Bring

        We encourage exhibitors to bring:

        • Company banners, brochures, flyers, business cards, and other promotional materials.
        • Information about job vacancies, training opportunities, and apprenticeships to engage attendees.
        • Branded merchandise like pens, drink bottles, or stress balls for a memorable impression.

        Event Day Details

        • Set-Up: Doors open at 8:45 AM for exhibitors to prepare their displays.
        • Lunch: Provided at 12pm, featuring a selection of fresh sandwiches, fruit salad, and more. Dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.
        • Power: Available upon request—please indicate your needs on the registration form.
        • Internet: Wi-Fi is unavailable, so bring your own device if connectivity is required.
