Position Details:

Traineeship available for a minimum of 15 hours per week. Days of work may be negotiable. Start date early May 2025. We are offering a Certificate III Individual Support (CHC33021) or Community Services (CHC32015). For applicants with an existing Certificate III in a related field, consideration would be given to offering a Certificate IV Community Services. The suitable candidate would have the opportunity to contribute to the Staying in Place program and must also be willing and interested in helping the wider community. This is an 18-month fixed contract, with potential for on-going employment, based on available funding.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Confident customer service and administration skills.

• Ability to solve practical problems effectively.

• Ability to work autonomously on set tasks through to completion.

• A positive and can-do attitude, including having a desire to complete a qualification at Certificate III level and the ability to commit to a part-time 18-month traineeship.

• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office Suite.

• Willingness and capacity to learn new skills.

• A desire to help people and make a positive contribution to the local community.

• Ability to provide a Working with Children Check along with a National Police clearance (via the Mable website). Note, these do not need to be obtained prior to applying.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
