Position Details:
MEEDAC has recently partnered with the Australian Electoral Commission and under this partnership there are temporary employment opportunities available, with the AEC seeking local people to fill the roles. The roles are flexible, with work available before the election, on the day and after the election. The types of roles available include working in the counting center, early voting center, or polling places, among others. Detailed job descriptions are available on the website.
Role Requirements:
- No experience necessary, training is provided
- Some roles may require a driver's license
- Be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Effective communication with people of different backgrounds
- An eye for detail
- Be able and willing to work in a team environment.
