CDP Compliance Officer/Customer Service

Full Time 38 hours per week

Based in Geraldton

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Central point of contact for all incoming client enquiries.
  • Process all work for dole activity hours onto the CDP IT system daily.
  • General oversight of CDP staff compliance with requirements of CDP IT system.
  • Regular monitoring of IT System to generate reports and allow early identification and intervention where necessary.
  • Act as a contact point for CDP staff in respect of any queries regarding the CDP IT system.
  • Communication of CDP policies and procedures to MEEDAC staff.
  • Extraction of appropriate CDP data from CDP IT system on a regular basis as required and requested by Compliance Manager/Operations Manager.
  • Extraction of appropriate CDP data from CDP IT system to allow Case Managers to monitor their assigned regions.
  • Acts with integrity at all times and ensure that areas of responsibility operate in an open, transparent and accountable manner.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and feedback on the quality, completeness and timeliness of information entered into the relevant CDP IT system.
  • Verify that monthly appointments, forward appointments and additional contacts with eligible jobseekers are undertaken in a timely and accurate manner as defined in the contractual guidelines.
  • Verify Job Plans are individualised, culturally appropriate and tailored to the needs and approved participation requirements and activities of individual eligible job seekers and that they are updated as per the contractual guidelines throughout the eligible job seeker’s period of activities.
  • Verify all personal and confidential material is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act.
  • Achieve organisation KPI’s and targets meeting contractual requirements.
  • Other duties as requested by Senior Management.

To be successful you need to have the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a team.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in case management, contract management and quality and compliance.
  • Ability to process complex information on computers and online platforms.
  • Current driver’s license, capacity and willingness to travel for professional purposes.
  • Demonstrated record of the ability to lead and to work collaboratively with a broad range of Government and community stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex written information.
  • Time management skills related to setting priorities, planning, organisation of workloads and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with, and an understanding of, economic participation issues impacting on people with various backgrounds in remote communities with limited economies.
